Comparison and Contrast
DLSC vs. UST
I'm studying in De Lasalle Canlubang because I found what I want wherein other schools don't have . This is a sample list why I chose DLSC:
-Uniforms
-Years of inexistence
-Population
-Place
Firstly, the uniforms, I don't need to wear the usual uniformsd that all the highschool and grade school students do.I mean I feel Independent every time I wear house, casual, and formal clothes. And this reason doesn't go for UST because UST students wear uniforms.
The next one is the years of inexistence, I think that since DLSC is still young at age, the people in it aren't that established yet so it would be easy for me to get along with the environment easily . Although there is still a disadvantage for entering into a juvenile college because since the school DLSAC is at its fifth year of existence the teachings might not be deep in understaning. I'm just assuming this because I still haven't encountered that yet and hopefully not.
The third reason is the population, as what I've said in the second paragraph, "I wanna get along with the environment easily" and so the population will greatly help me in DLSC with an estimated population of students of about four-hundred people. I believe it's easier to get in a small crowd at first than entering a huge crowd or else I'll end up in the middle of nowhere.
Lastly is the place, avoiding worldy people would be better for me or rather saying would benefgt me. We all know where worldly people can be found. They are all scattered around Manila and so to at least avoid or just lessen those kind of people I might as well go to a rural place where I found a school that really suits me best and it is De Lasalle Canlubang.

journal,
I don't know what to blog. I started getting lazy oppening the internet when the net at home didn't work for a week. What a week I had.. At last, I've finished my first Compro1 exam. I'm assuming that I'd get a higher grade than what I got before since this is my second take.

Classification
My Friends I have a lot of friends and I'll categorize them by their personalities or their characters. However if I can't categorize or distinguish the kind of friends I have, I might as well identify them by the way I think of them. Friends that are fun to be with and share problems with are the friends that I call “Best Friends" and of course add to this is a friend that I'm most comfortable with. Treat my best friends as a part of the family. My best friends are far different from my close friends. My close friends are the people that I get along with almost everyday and share the same experiences almost always. My close friends are simply the friends that lead to being my best friends. Aside from my best friends and close friends, there is this kind that I call, "My Civil Friends". My civil friends are the people who I see and meet all the time but we don't talk at all. Probably just a smirk will do and that would be our means of communication Sounds funny but that's really it. It happens! Another type of friend that I have is called "My Long Distance Friends"; they are the friends that I met through internet, chat, and even through texts. Most of them became my friends through chit-chats on the net. Maybe I can define them as my friends when there's nothing to do. Anyway, the similarity that I can give or share is that, they all are my friends, and I care for them and will treasure them since they've been a part of my history.

journal, Timbao
Coming from school is so exhausting. Even if I just sat in the vehicle for about an hour going back home I feel like I came home from a camp. Maybe it's because my brain consumed most of the space from studying or whatever. haha! Anyway, earlier this morning, we went to a place called "Timbao". The fifteen students including me were divided into five groups to spread and interview some young students in "Timbao Elementary School". It was quite an experience with the kids having an interaction with us. The kids who were assigned to us were in grade two. The kids struck our hearts when we heard their stories of how they wake up really early morning and walk over a kilometer just to reach school and study. We asked the children of what do they want to be when they grow up and why, and all of them answered with these replies, "Gusto ko po maging doctor kasi gusto ko lang po", "Ako po stewardess! Pangarap ko po kasi sumakay ng eroplano", "Ako naman pulis pero di ko alam kung bakit", and lastly, the one that really touched us, " Gusto ko lang po makatapos ng pagaaral, kasi po marami po kaming utang lalo na pong nadagdagan noong nagkasakit si papa sa atay.". It's like the kid was telling us that she'll be contented with any job as long as she can pay all the debts of her parents. Because she believes that when she finishes her studies she'll be able to make her family a debt-free family. What a goal to fulfill by these inspiring kids. Also with this occurence that happened, it made us all feel how blessed we are even with small things like the water we drink, the food we eat, the clothes we wear, and our conviniency of studying. All of these are incomaparable to what the kids of Timbao are experiencing. Hope we learn how to give God the glory for giving us the comfort of living however I believe that we become stronger from the arduous trials He gives us.
Have a great day ! ! ! =)

Definition
Anak ng Toot
--> Used when disappointed or whatever.
1.) Ruvin said "Anak ng toot" when he missed a shot during a basketball game.
2.) My seatmate cursed the subject with "Anak ng toot".
3.) One of the students yelled "Anak ng toot" when he got a failing mark in class.
"Anak ng toot" can be defined when a person reaches his boiling point. Though often times here in the Philippines, people just use it as an expression of anything. To give an idea, let me illustrate the expression used when a person is happy , " People of the Philippines, I won p100,000,000 in sweepstakes. 'Anak ng tinapa talaga!' You are the best Lord! ' Anak ng pating'. As simple as this, I have created two "anak ng toots" expressions with only a statement explaining. Another way that it can be used is by expressing anger or frusration. Even when a person is in-love, it can also be used. To sum it all up, it's an expression that a person can express through various emotions..
*Thanks Myco for the suggestions you gave me.
